Fruits and Fats, together.

Hey all-

Relatively new to the Paleo Diet but am so happy with the results so far.

My question is: if you eat a moderate amount of fruit in a day, do you need to watch the fats you then take in? Are the sugars in the fruit going to act the same way simple carbs would, in that they will prevent the burning of fat as fuel and store fat (I.e. slow down fat burning)?

i only ask because my girlfriend made me an AWESOME fruit smoothie, just ice, blueberries, blackberries, kale, coconut milk. Then I ate a handful of Macadamia Nuts and enjoyed some Almond Butter.

Should I be more mindful of the natural sugars and fat relationship?

I'm in good shape, athletic build, and don't need to lose weight but would like to keep at this weight
