Craving fruits while sick

Hello! I had a heat exhaustion 3 days ago and have had a mild fever since. Today I was craving some apples, so I ate two quite big apples. Now I feel bad, because I feel that it will sabotage my weight loss. :(

Can the craving be from the sickness? Or is it just emotional? Should I eat fruit while sick?

Yeah they are sugary but then again that's only an issue if you're eating a lot of them. Two apples? Come on, that's not the end of the world. It's only 190 calories and 40g of carbs, you'll be fine.

after a heat stroke it is normal to desire potassium, magnesium, water, and vitamins. I would not function properly these days without my 1/4 watermelon. Just eat in season fruits, rather than apples, which are out of season and vitamin/mineral poor.

First off, don't let weight loss rule your life. Let weight loss be a side effect of you becoming healthy.

Second, if you're agonizing over eating any whole Paleo approved food, you're doing it wrong. Think caveman. If you were a tired and hungry caveman and not feeling phenomenal, would you turn down a couple pieces of fruit? No.

Heat exhaustion is no fun. Drink tons of cool water, take lots of cool showers and baths, And sleep whenever you can until you feel better. And, enjoy a piece of fruit once in a while. Don't turn a healthy lifestyle change into an agonizing diet of restrictions or it won't work out

Yeah, I might be a little overreacting. It's just that there are so many people here that call fruit "bags of sugar" so I got a little bit worried. :)

You know, I think you might be overreacting. You're not going to stall your weight loss because you ate two apples. There's nothing wrong with eating an apple, it's not like you went to a Chinese buffet and ate 10 pounds of fried rice. Emotional? Since when is eating an apple emotional? Look, you can eat fruit whenever you please, just don't start eating 30 bananas a day lol
