We love blending an Avocado until it is totally smooth (no lumps please) and then mixing with a little olive oil to make it more fluid - it has this great ability to seem to coat the leaves but not make them soggy.

Just mix up equal parts extra virgin olive oil (cold-pressed) and red wine vinegar in a shaker bottle and enjoy! It's super convenient and tastes great. You can even leave it out on the counter and it won't spoil unlike commercial dressings. I've seen Primal Kitchen's mayonnaise made with avacado oil at our local grocery store and I heard they had a ranch dressing but I haven't tried it yet.
