Frozen Meat how long do they last?

I just found a boneless leg of lamb in the back of my freezer--must be in there for 1-2 years (sad but true). Is it still OK to eat? There is only a very little freezer burn (I know YUCK right). But I am sure I paid a lot of $$$ and I really hate to waste food.

Thanks

Let it thaw, cut off the freezer burn, and go by how the piece of meat smells. If it was properly wrapped and didn't absorb fridge or freezer stank, you should be good to go.
