Recent outbreak of dengue in my city has affected many of my relatives which has significantly reduced their white blood cell and platelet count. Now traditional wisdom here is to drink variety of fruit juices and I think it is not helping them that much other than alleviating their insulin levels.

Whats foods do you think can genuinely help to increase the platelets and white blood cell count?

You'd probably want to make sure you're not deficient in vitamin D, zinc or vitamin C. That would ensure that your immune system is pretty robust, but if there were specific foods that increased white blood cells beyond that point, it'd likely be dangerous to do so.
