Paleo/Primal travelling

Hi everyone and thank you in advance for your help.

My wife and I are planning on a long weekend travelling by bike along the South of England and camping along the way. We will be taking everything with us that we need but I am a little concerned about the food. When we did this a couple of years ago we weren't primal and lived on pasta and bread. Obviously we won't do that this time but really need your help to sort out what good food we can take. We are going to be cycling all day so will be needing a lot of calories (fat). Please help. I know similar questions have been asked before but any new help would be great. Thanks.

Ah. You are right. Well, try and find pemmican from some local meat shops there perhaps? Someone's gotta be doing pemmican in the UK!

Macadamia nuts. Almond butter. Beef Jerky. Coconut oil and dark chocolate (depending on temperature). In England, you should be fine. I also really like taking canned fish (tuna, sardines, kippers, salmon) if you have some room and are able to add some extra weight. Can't go wrong with canned coconut milk either.

Get some pemmican from US Wellness Meats. Delicious, and full of protein and fat.

GORP will get you far, dried fruit and nuts! Just careful of the oils that can be added to the dried fruit to preserve them, unless you dry your own. Add some oil for extra fat?
