oily skin......

what would cause sudden onset of severely oily face, my eyelids and nose suddenly got oily overnight, its been like this for 2 years..

eating paleo helps, but its still there.

vitamin d levels are fine, got that tested about 2 weeks ago

I think you need to change the soap you use to wash your face, buy an expensive one in the cosmetics section. It worked for me in a flash

My hormones, food quality (e.g. if I buy cheap ground beef), and soaps all do it for me. At Trader Joe's I found a natural oatmeal soap that works miracles. I also had luck with oil cleansing using a mix of almond and castor oil. Read about that here: http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/

What are your vitamin D levels? I found in my own personal experience that when my vitamin D gets too high, my skin gets very oily. Coincidentally this also happens when my intake of Vitamin A is very low.

Vitamins d and a modulate each other in some ways. The details of how and why I do not know, but if you get too much of one and too little of the other, the skin usually tells the tale.
