I need to figure out if I'm eating enough for IF!!! Help:[

So today would be my third day doing IF and I feel great and the best I have in a loooong time. My only question is my eating plan. I'm eating two large meals a day and I also workout about 4 times a week doing mostly strength training with HIIT for about 20 minutes or so. I need to figure out if I'm eating enough to sustain this plan. For reference, I am a 20 year old female height 5'8" and I weigh about 131. Today's meal went like this:

Fasted 16 hours (from the night before) Broke the fast at around 12:15p.m and ate: A medium sized pork chop A cup and a half of broccoli half of a large (very large) sweet potato (it was from Whole Foods so it was HUGE) A cup of strawberries Two cups of apple cinnamon chips

I then didn't eat until 5:15 when I then (if this even counts) took my BCAAs before my workout.

I worked out until 6:30 and after my workout consumed 48 g of whey protein with water.

I ate dinner at around 7 30 and ate: 3 hard boiled eggs A large mixed greens salad with cucumber, diced strawberries, a cup of goat cheese and a paleo style raspberry dressing 2 squares of dark chocolate A nectarine

-I feel satiated but I just wanted to double check! Is this enough for me? Is it TOO much? I am pretty clueless on the IF thing so far...

Thanks for your thoughts!

Still more effective than what she is doing now. For her training routine I actually recommend a TKD if you read that, which has also worked well for many women I know.

Leto is generally less effective for women, and with her training routine, it doesn't seem like the best idea. Glad it's working for you though.

Based on your height and weight, you don't seem to need to lose weight. If you are trying to change your body composition, then substituting some of the fruit for other foods might help. But do not cut your calories. Eat to fuel your body for the right response.

Okay thanks for the answer! Do you think the amount of fruit I'm eating will impede fat loss?

Seems ok, but try it for a little while and see how you fee. Not sure you need 48g whey protein, rather than just eat a little more. You are already getting a lot of protein, so I don't see the need to supplement.

I am going to start this like I start most of my posts. Everybody is different, so what works for others may not work for you at all.

It is hard to say what is too much for you if we do not know what all your goals are. Just to lose weight, from fat storage?

That being said, many people can eat fruit all day long and not gain a single pound. Even though most fruit are high in carbs, they are good sugars. Others will notice zero weight loss when eating too many fruits. It seems you aren't counting carbs much?

If you are wanting to lose fat, then I would highly recommend a keto diet. Keto and IF work very well together when combined with exercise. It is a great way to know that you are burning fat. Also, you can do a targeted keto diet (TKD) if you want to keep or build some muscle while doing this, just start off with ~20-30g of carbs each day and add as many as necessary for what you are doing until you find your sweet spot.

When doing keto, as long as you aren't doing PSMF then I you should be able to eat as much food as what you are eating, pretty easily. Just watch the carb intake and if you want go ahead and monitor your macros.

Sweet potatoes are very high in carbs as well as fruit, so you will want to watch those.

Keto and sporadic IF along with 3 days light, long cardio, 2 days of late day/evening HIIT and 3 days weight lifting combined and I can lose 5- lbs pretty easily. I am male and again everyone is different.
