gelatin: safety

Does anyone out there know if gelatin derived from pig skin has added yellow colour(yellow 6)? I have heard some horror stories about dyes in food. To clarify I am refering to the 'powdered' or granulated pig skin sold in, for example, bulk barn in Canada. Anyone know about this?

No - can't say as I do. But, the image of you shopping in some Canadian Store for powdered pig skin is well - romantic! But, I'm an American. Anything that happens from outside our borders seems romantic to me!
