Since switching to paleo I really miss the taste of a good butter covered piece of toast(no more toast for me) and the convenience of cereal just pour into a bowl and your good.

I don't miss anything. Really. I can look at brownies, cupcakes, bread, etc., and not really feel anything.

That's not to say that those foods are not yummy. If I ate a brownie, it would taste good. But there is so much delicious paleo food, and that's what I focus my attention on. I enjoy every single meal I eat now, in a much more conscious way. My overall experience of food is much better since the switch--and I am also much better at cooking.

French Bread + Butter + Parmesan Cheese.

I miss her. I do. (Admit it, it would be a sheeee with all those soft curves.)

Pizza with a crisp crust and fresh Basil...Her too.

Ice Cream Sandwiches....ItsIt

Corn Chips. Really is guacamole the same without them?

But the benefit is worth it.

I've learned to cook meat and Almond Butter + Coconut Oil + Cocoa Powder = heaven.

I'm good, but like those crazy hormonal relationships of my 20s, I do look back fondly.
