These are the foods that, when I eat them, I literally feel like I have more oxygen flowing to my brain: fresh raw oysters, raw liver...actually, raw fish or meat of any kind, plus fish roe.

If I wanna be 'sharp' I avoid dairy. I usually don't eat much but I'm not opposed to some cheese here and there. Too much dairy and I notice a brain fog for sure, so if I really wanna think clearly I'll be strict about dairy.

Almost a paleohacks clich??, but some extra butter on/with whatever I'm eating for breakfast always seems to increase my focus (and energy)

For me, I don't notice a particular increase in focus/concentration when eating certain foods. I'm a college student, so I constantly need to be mentally awake. Studying for long periods of time heightens my perception of hunger. Being hungry = losing focus and I can't continue studying if I don't eat because my brain is just going "FOOOOOOOOOOOOD. NOW." So pretty much whatever I eat and gets me full will do it for me. Other than that, I am extremely good at staying focused/paying attention without needing to eat anything.

Coffee with coconut oil, tsp of sugar, and L-theanine is like homemade adderall. Not really a food but it's my go to whenever I need a brain boost.
