Am I eating enough?

I was wondering if the amount of food im consuming everyday is too little or too much.

Breakfast: 3 eggs (boiled with 1 tbsp of olive oil or fried in butter)

Lunch: watevers on the table but usually around 3/4 cup of lamb or chicken, and around a cup of salad

Dinner: a huge salad (around 3 cups) containing lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, olives, pickles, bell peppers and 2 tbsp of olive oil. I sometimes add a boiled egg depending on how hungry I am.

Snacks: half a cup of cashews and almonds, a date or 2, or bell peppers and cucumbers.

I usually eat a banana or plum maybe 6 days a week.

My stomach doesn't grumble or anything after meals but I just feel like eating all the time. I jump rope for half an hour and strength train against my own body weight at home every other day.

Im starting my 5th week of paleo tomorrow and I still feel quite tired and sleepy most days.

Female, 18, 144 pounds, 162 cm.

@Butterknuckle I'm not a huge fan of BMI... because two guys of the same ht & wt have the same BMI. If one has a 39" waist & the other has a 33 inch waist, that's a huge difference. Waist to height gives a reasonable estimate of body fat. If you're interested in fat loss, minimize the fruit, stick with veggies. I just noticed my typo. Im 114 pounds, not 144.

I checked the second link and it says my bmi is 19.2 and that that's normal.

Im just worried that if I eat more carbs, it'll hinder my fat loss. I eat 2 - 3 servings of fruit a day, isnt that enough carbs?

If you give more details you'll get better answers.. today's posted question is very similar to the one you posted a few days ago but there are no more details. Your listed weight is different today. Is today's a typo or was the other one?'

Tired & hungry all the time typically indicates not enough food or rest.

Use http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ or similar to get a handle on your caloric intake & macros.

Use http://home.fuse.net/clymer/bmi/ to estimate your body fat % & fitness level & basal caloric needs.

Im just so tired and hungry all the time. I sleep 7-8 hours a day, as much as I can get. Im quite active, I walk around campus each chance I get, I get my dose of sunlight, I jump rope 3 -4 a week for 30 minutes and strength train along with that (pushups, lunges, squats, planks). But I haven't in a few days because I pulled a leg muscle.

This is sort of wat I usually eat:

Lunch: watevers on the table but mostly lamb or beef kebabs with salad

Dinner: a huge salad with lettuce, cabbage, olives, tomatoes, bell peppers, pickles, and watever meat I find in my fridge, 2 tbsp of olive oil

Snacks: nuts or fruit or some dsrk chocolate.

I dont measure my weight on a scale, I just take pictures each week and to be honest, ive barely seen a change. Does this mean im doing something wrong or it'll just take time? And my energy? Im half asleep right now.

I avoid all grains, dairy, and sugar except for obvious trace amounts.

Im 18, female, 114 pounds, 162 cm. Im just looking to get leaner and energetic.

i would personally be starving if i ate that little, but i usually go for around 2000 calories a day. i eat low carb (under 90 grams of carbs a day) and at least a pound of meat a day. i get my carbs from potatoes, sweet potatoes, and green bananas. this gives me a good amount of energy and i'm not anemic anymore.

I was eating the way you are eating and ended up in a mental hospital. not enough calories, not enough fat and especially carbs . Well at least for it didn't work.

I just answered a similar question. Like the previous person, it looks like you are really low carb. Any reason why? There are plenty of carb-containing paleo foods out there. Lots of folks even eat white rice. I suggest increasing the amounts of these foods and see if you feel better.
