Aggressive antibiotics--How should I eat?

I have to take metronidazole 4X a day for 10 days due to a rare bacterial overgrowth that has made me very, very ill for the past 6 years. Should I be taking probiotics during this time? I do not want to cause any other bacterial overgrowth (like a yeast infection, I'm a woman). And I have been reading it's pretty important to do this. But I wasn't sure about an aggressive medication.

i've been on flagyl tons of times and i always take probiotics during my course. i also eat fermented foods. if you are worried about the yeast overgrowth, i'd recommend renew life "advanced immunity" probiotic. it has taken away oral and vaginal yeast infections in three days for me.

i hope it helps!!
