What do I do if I really don't like food preparation and cooking?  My mind seems to revolt if thre are more than 3-4 ingredients...and they have to be 'common' ones.

If you don't like preparation minimize preparation. I make bone broth every two months, 4 gallons at a time, and freeze it. I eat most of my meat raw, dressed/mixed with olive oil and pickled veggies of all sorts. A freezer is a big help. I make tallow nd lard once a year, natto and ghee every two months, and fermeted veggies 3 or 4 times a year. I eat all veggies in raw salad or steamed.

Edyem, Congratulations on your decision to eat healthier! The idea of constant meal-prepping can seem overwhelming to beginners, however cooking up a batch of chicken in the crockpot doesn't take much skill. If you do that or brown a pan of ground beef (grass-fed of course) you'll have a handy source of protein to add to salads or whatever. If you don't want to cook at all you could order prepared meals from a delivery service or adapt restaurant meals to your plan. (Sirloin salad anyone?) Even restaurant chains like Subway can make something Paleo-friendly these days. Where there's a will there's a way.
