Food Allergies: where to begin with identifying them?

Sort of a general question - I've never been tested for food allergies. I'm not sure I even have any, but have always been curious. Or even food sensitivities: would love to know what my body chemistry can and can't metabolize so well. Thing is, I not only have zero idea where to begin looking, I don't even know the type of physician to look for: nutritionist? homeopath? wellness coach???

Anyway - I'd like to run a few tests and know my stats, so-to-speak.

Any recommendations out there?

Even better, any recommendations in Los Angeles?

Thanks.

If you have some time to kill you can try the Coca Pulse Test on yourself. It can be kind of a pain to do because you have to ingest things in isolation, and most of us have pretty varied diets. But it is still neat to see what you react to.
