Food allergies are especially caused by the overreaction of immune system. Eggs are one of the most common allergy causing foods for children. Some people are allergic to egg white only. In case of egg allergy, the immune system mistaken some egg proteins harmful. . When someone comes in contact with egg proteins, immune system cells (antibodies) recognize them and signal the immune system to release histamine and other chemicals that cause allergic signs and symptoms. There is no particular alternative for food allergies, keep away the triggered food. Sometime as we ages, the allergy goes by itself. I too had allergy from wheat in my childhood, I was on maize flour for 1-2 years, after that i recover by my own without any medication. If your problem persists for a long time then contact to the doctor and take some test and proper medication. Good luck.

Tofu is a great substitute for eggs. Whatever you add tofu to it will taste like the food. Tofu generally has no flavor so it can be a great protein substitite.
