Two incredible videos of HGs obtaining nutrition.

Here are two incredible videos of the length our HG ancestors will go to obtain valuable sources of nutrition. The first video is for fish, and the second video is for honey.

Since I have to have a question, I'll ask, what is your reaction?

EDIT:

Being naturally biased towards certain types of paleo nutrition, I was pleased to hear that the only reason they go to the mainland is to trade for RICE and fuel. Sounds to me like they have optimized the Inuit diet :)

...and about taking things for granted, my original question title before I edited it to be more positive was "we're all so spoiled."

Yes. so cool. In an effort to be more paleo, I'm going to try holding my breath next time I walk the two blocks it is to Whole Foods for seafood.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Very impressed with both of these. I suspect that the fisherman will go back down many times in a day. Patience... No rush job here.

Has anyone seen that thing where David Blaine held his breath for 11 minutes or something? Amazing what the human body is capable of when we can overpower the urge to give up.
