Although it may not say to on the bottle, should you refrigerate fish oil pills?

My fish oil has essential orange oil in it. Pretty tasty burps actually.

Didn't say it did. It's just not very tasty. So I avoid it by freezing them.

Fishy burps. I don't necessarily think burping fish oil means they're rancid.

What counts most is to swallow them with bacon.

No way! They're less fun to chew when cold.

Fish oil pills are often rancid, and not of high quality. It is the pressed remains of junk fish. Not some beautiful Salmon or Cod.

Fish oil pills do not necessarily need to be stored in a refrigerator, provided you are not living in a place with a very hot climate. The bottle of pills was probably standing on the store shelf for a couple of weeks at least before you bought it. However, once you have opened the sealed bottle, you either store it in the refrigerator or outside, and do not alternate between the two. If you are holding large supplies of these pills, refrigeration is a better option as it slows down its deterioration.

I keep them in the freezer. It helps if you have trouble with them repeating.
