Just curious, because if I eat a ton of coconut butter I then get an energy surge and feel like working out.

I'd test it out. More than a tbsp of pure MCT Oil is pretty potent. I's start there and see how you feel.

I am unsure what is coconut butter, but many people, including myself, consider coconut oil to be their morning coffee. In fact, I cannot take coconut oil after noon or it will keep me from sleeping properly.

Usually with some nuts, but mainly the coconut butter. I have only recently discovered this stuff so I guess I am ODing on it a little right now

Whats awesome about coconut oil is that is a saturated fat that is incredibly satiating while giving your body, and most importantly your brain the sugar you need.

Yup. It's specific to the coconut fat. I often have some about a half hour before a workout to get extra energy.

Are you just chomping down on the coco butter by itself?

The Medium Chain Triglyceride fat in Coconut oil is very unique in that the liver turns it into ketones which act like sugar in your body (minus the blood sugar and insulin issues). So you are getting a "sugar rush" from coconut oil.

Coconut oil is also antibacterial, antifungal. Enjoy. This stuff comes as close to magic as we get in the kitchen.

Yes, I've been using a tab of butter in the same manner that I used to use coffee/caffeine. It is a much faster, longer lasting "high" without the downside of stomach issues and hunger later on.

I've used MCT Oil and Coconut Oil pre-workout for a long time. Combined with some 100% Cacao and it gives me crazy energy windows.
