I recently tried Natural Calm for the first time - hoping it would help with anxiety and sleep and sluggish bowels.
I LOVE this stuff and can't seem to get enough. I quickly used up my 8oz. container. It was almost like I began craving it. It definitely offered relief from the anxiety I experience so I think I was dosing myself based on that.... but I also discovered an interesting effect:
I had more energy. Lots more. Like go out for a 9km walk and feel great the whole day kind of energy. Now it's been 1.5 days since my bottle ran out and I feel weak and draggy and really really fatigued.
Soooo... am I super magnesium deficient and that boost of Mag was helping?
(I've had blood work done recently to test all that stuff because I've been battling this extreme tiredness for months now.)
If it could be low Mag - are there certain foods I can eat which are especially rich in Mag and bioavailable? I cannot afford a $25 bottle of Natural Calm every 10 days or so.
It really helped with a lot of issues... sleep, anxiety, energy/fatigue, mood, constipation, mental clarity etc. The difference was really surprising to me. All I was really expecting was weird dreams based on what I've read here :)

There are other ways to get your Magnesium, though Natural Calm is awesome.
I alternate it with other things, like epsom salt baths (magnesium sulfate), chelated Mg tablets, and my personal favorite, Magnesium Gel. (I order it here: http://www.health-and-wisdom.com/). I slather the gel on myself in the shower after turning off the water, but before drying off. Then dry off as usual.
