So, I've noticed that although my skin has cleared up since the caribbean, antibiotic and then mega dosing on probiotics, that my skin has become dry and my kp bumps are returning.
It's only been 3 weeks since i've been back in the US and out of the sun, so I don't really think it's my vitamin d levels dropping that fast...but I have been eating way less fat, because I don't believe in too many nuts, grain fed animals.
So, all i've been eating is fruits, veggies, fish, eggs once a week, and some occasional rice. I've had some beef now and then, but I don't think i'm really getting enough fat just from meats like fish and beef.
And fat is essential for health, and vitamin absorption, right?
Is ghee, coconut, and animal fat going to be okay?
Also, do animal fats, and ghee contain vitamins? Like vitamin A and D? I mean I'm not fond of eating liver cause 'm in college and not really good at cooking and preparing it to taste good. And I want to eat yummy foods and feel satisfied, but still absorb my nutrients. Cause I feel like i'm eating healthy but not absorbing anything.
How do you guys maintain healthy skin and body, get all your Vit A and D, and eat enough fat?
I dunno if coconut oil in potatoes would taste good, and potatoes aren't even paleo...and don't they spike blood sugar, or would the fat help that?

If you have KP, you need liver. Even if you hate it, eat it. Makes all the difference in the world for mine.
Don't fret over non-grass-fed animal fat, it's not bad for you, it's only missing a few good fats.
Olive oil and butter. So much more versatile than coconut oil, tastier too. Every meal should have one or both.
