Caveman and I have been working on a ranch dressing substitute (just needs to be creamy and good not necessarily a copy of ranch). We found that blending avocado, olive oil, a touch of heavy cream and spices turns out DELICIOUS. I was thinking about adding some coconut oil too. Would this be a good idea to give us a good mix of fats or is it confusing to the body? The way I see it it would be a fat powerhouse of sorts! I plan on mixing it with tuna instead of mayo.

As for proteins I made breakfast that included egg, beef, and bacon. Talk about mixing your proteins! Is this ok?

Thanks!

Unless there is a chemical reaction caused when mixing ingredients together, which inherently changes the final product, or a catalyst is applied or energy source like heat, a physical mixture is just that -- a mix of things.

You're salad dressing is safe ... assuming you enjoy eating it. :-)
