My BMI is 18. I am very thin, and my triglycerides=56, HDL=139, but I have High Glucose Level (Fasting level around 110, & High a1c=6.2%. I am confused about what to eat; I was vegan for a while, it didn't improve my a1c. Then I got on LCHF, still not working. I hear that Dr. Gregger says eating 3 servigs/day of whlole grains is good, on the other hand the"Wheat Belly" book says we should eliminate grains from our diet. I am prediabetic and don't know what to do. I work out every day and I feel healthy, but how can I lower my glucose level and/or a1c?
