Is beef fat alone a good meal?

I am in the process of trying to source cuts of beef fat from a local farm and I was wondering if anyone eats beef fat on its own as a meal (maybe with a little flavouring and a small amount of greens or something)

also is it a good idea to simply eat beef fat as a meal? I read there might be benefits for the digestive system for eating high calory foods

Why do you only want to eat the fat? Are you doing an Atkins fat fast or something? Just cook your meat and saute your veggies in the tallow; it will taste amazing.

"I thought we were trying to limit muscle meats?" Says who? This is news to me.

Constant munching on liver makes little sense. Last time I checked, a cow has but one liver.

Sounds like you're venturing into reenactment territory.

In the infamous words of the 1980s: Where's the beef? Where's the protein, the vitamins, the minerals, the carnitine, etc?

I think you should reconsider following advice from whatever source made you think this was a good idea.

A good meal? No, it doesn't sound like a good meal. I don't think eating only one substance should be considered a "meal." If you eat one substance, it's a "snack."

Or maybe a "binge," depending on how much of it you eat--but even if it's a "binge," it's still not a "meal."

Bone Marrow as a soup base is great. I wouldn't consume copious amounts of beef fat by itself however. You'd be missing out on a lot of important nutrients and vitamins. I'd limit their consumption, but wouldn't a)not consume it b)make it a main part of a meal or even dietary plan.
