Hi, I would like to collect characteristics, infos, scienetific news, nutrition data, stories on chashew nut.
The origin of the cashew nut is brazil. The Cashew nuts today come from Vietnam, Africa, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lonka, Brasil, South America,
The shell of the cashew is poison. The oil of the shell shell have a medical effect. I have found one article on cashew and gum desease. Cashew have quite much carbohydrates and high in natural sugar. So maybe this isnt so good for anybody anytime.
Beside they have phytic acid. When i eat cashew, i try to get good quality. If its is worse quality it taste realy bad.
A friend and me were by time quite addicted to cashews. Can you stop eating, when you start eating good cashew nuts. Do you have to throw up when you eat worse quality cashew?

i heard cashews aare used for gum infection. The cashew plant probably has a lot to discover. i wish there would be much more ethnobotancis on paleohacks!

Stay away, not good stuff. Stick to hazels and macadamias.

Cashews are by far my favorite nut, which is why I don't buy them often. I have to say, I was quite disappointed by cashew butter though. Nowhere near as yummy as I had hoped.
I buy my cashews raw at Farm and Fleet at a great price! I'm lucky to have them near by.
