Yesterday I went and got the most basic cheap lipid profile done at Labcorp and this morning got my results.
Total Chol 179 HDL 75 LDL 90 Triglycerides 72 Ration of Total/HDL 2.4
I eat bacon at least 4 days per week, a minimum of a pound of meat every day, and heavy cream in my coffee and for the occasional dinner dessert.
Oops. forgot the question. So is it possible that my numbers were better before switching to the artery-clogging diet, and that they have gotten worse? Unfortunately I have no real reference point from my 30+ yrs on SAD, but my blood pressure and resting heart rate have all improved on paleo.

You are too funny!
Things I noticed:
Your HDL is too high. Cut the saturated fat and your HDL should drop.
Your trigs are too low. Add some heart healthy whole grains like Fruit Loops to get those trigs back up where they ought to be.
You don't want to live forever, after all...

So I was climbing with a guy yesterday, and we got on the subject of what we ate. I told him I ate at least a pound of bacon a week, about 2 dozen eggs a week, and at lease a pound of some type of animal flesh daily. He mentioned how bad that was for cholesterol. I told him my numbers that I just received, and he said I must be one of those people that just naturally has good cholesterol. I thought it was funny that he had to justify it.
