Fat Does Not Cause Heart Disease... Best Article?

I've finally persuaded my mother to try eating a high fat / very low carb diet, in order to treat her type 2 diabetes. In just one week, the results are amazing (a couple days ago, she had blood sugar reading of 79! Prior to this, she rarely saw anything under 200...).

Anyway, she is very excited and very motivated about the diet, but she still worries that the high fat diet will cause heart disease. I want to give her something to read that will persuade her otherwise. I've read Good Calories, Bad Calories - but I know my mother will not read anything that long or complicated. So, I'm looking for a relatively short and straightforward explanation of why fat does not cause heart disease (perhaps with some comments about how the misunderstanding began), and enough scientific backing to make her feel confident it's not just someone's opinion.

What specific articles or blog posts would you recommend for this? Thanks in advance.

Haha, thanks, I now understand where the saying 'eating rabbit food' comes from when I used to eat low fat (trying to be healthy) and my (healthier than I) friends made fun of me. Ahh if only I had listened.

His website is cholesterol-and-health.com and you can youtube his name to find some good videos where he explains why cholesterol and fat do not CAUSE heart disease. Do you want me to link straight to the articles and youtube videos or can you take it from there? lemme know-
