Face feeling greasy after eating meal with fat.

I'm new, just about two weeks into this. I've been making salads with veggies, homemade dressing (olive oil) and adding chicken (breast or thigh) that I've cooked in either a bit of butter or coconut oil. After a meal like this, my face feels greasy. Anyone else experience this?

No idea. I will just see if my body acclimatizes. I've never ever had greasy skin before two weeks ago. Either way this isn't going to deter me from cooking; im having way too much fun here :) noticing your screen name... Cast iron pans are the best!!

I'm not quite sure what to tell you then, other than looking at skin care tips. I doubt that it's the food you're eating. I'm no stranger to bacon but I have chronically dry skin.

Try wiping your face with a napkin or paper towel. They're not paleo but I think you'll be ok.

Ok, it's morning now and I just ate the leftovers from last night and my face feels instantly greasy again. Broccoli salad with bacon and dressing made of olive oil and vinegar. You know how people who stop using shampoo have greasier hair for a while as their hair adjusts to the new routine? Maybe this could be something like that?

This is likely the case then. My kitchen ventilation sucks too. We will test this theory tomorrow when I eat leftovers and don't cook tomorrow for lunch :)

Yeah, I didn't know how much good kitchen ventilation makes a difference, in my new apartment at the end of a meal I feel like I'm coated, whereas at my old, roomier place I didn't notice a thing!

Absolutely. Chances are it's grease from the pan either coming up or aerosolising and falling down. My kitchen is badly designed and doesn't have any ventilation. If I'm cooking on the stove, I have to shower afterwards, less I want to smell like grease all day.

This may seem like a dumb question, but does this occur more aften when you've just finished cooking?
