Any Ketones burned on 88g fruit carbs/day?

Today, I had 1700 calories, 88g carbs.

My diet was 56% fat, 21% carbs, 23% protein.

Pretty much all 88g of my carbs was from fruit (banana, strawberry).

Question: am I burning any body fat or just the carbs in my diet?

Good suggestion on the testing strips. I forgot I had some combo test strips when I was curious about PH last year. My strips have a range of 5mg/DL - 160 mg/DL. I scored 25. Does that mean I'm burning SOME of my body fat, and some of the food I'm eating?

how is your body going to burn body fat when you're eating much exogenous fat?

Why don't you eat this way for a week and go buy some ketone strips and see?

I see a lot of these posts that can easily be answered 100% with some basic home testing, not to belittle your post but if we told you yes or no we could be wrong on either account.

More than likely if your active and eating those carbs your burning Ketones, but if you live in a seat all day then probably not. But then again maybe you are less sensitive or burn through the fruit faster. Like I said, go to the store buy some ketone sticks and test for a week, if your strips are not turning in a week lower the fruit by a half and continue, reduce weekly as necessary till you see the strips turn :)

I'd doubt you'd in ketosis. If you use MCT oil or coconut oil you may have some ketones in your bloodstream.

At 1700 kcal you are probably burning fat for some of your energy needs. You'll know if you lose weight.

For me over 20 gms of carbs and I am out of Ketosis :-(
