I've heard that probiotics need food to feed off of so that's the basis of my question. From my research (although it seems to be an unclear topic), the best time to take a probiotic is about 30 minutes before a meal to let it sit in the stomach then feed off the food (??).
Soooo...would taking a probiotic in the middle of a fast (say 4-8 hours before food will be consumed) not be as efficient as taking it just before a meal? Thanks!
