I have been doing intermittent fasting for a while now.. 1 meal a day type of thing. It doesn't seem to be that effective. I don't cheat either. I do eat a lot of meat and fat though. Am I supposed to be limiting my calories or something for weight loss? I am confused.

High Intensity Interval Training while Fasted. Feast after.
I noticed when I combined Intermittent Fasting with Fasted Training is when the Weight Loss capability EXPLODED. its what finally broke the Ab barrier for me.
In addition, I put on muscle faster during fasted training... its a serious Win Win.

I thought the point of intermittent fasting was that it was random, to keep your metabolism off guard, and randomly cut 600-800 calories here and there.
I suspect that if you are doing it every day, your body has caught onto the game and compensated. Especially if you have experienced enough hunger during that time to increase stress hormones, and your body perceives the outside world as having limited nutrients, so it is hanging onto them as much as possible.

Is your diet locked in? I've been doing a 20/4 IF protocol for several months and have lost 30 pounds.
At the end of the day, calories do still count to a degree I believe. I'm only consuming around 1700 calories during my 4 hour feeding window, but because of the quality of food I'm eating, I am not hungry or crave anything until its time to eat again.
My advice is to make sure your diet is 100% locked in and keep at it.

You could probably increase the number of meals you are having. You may want to try bulletproof fasting as outlined in this link http://www.bulletproofexec.com/bulletproof-fasting/
