Zinc Monomethionine or Zinc Picolinate, which is better absorbed and used efficiently?

wondering which supplement would be used more by our systems effectively?

I have got the picolinate from NOW foods but am now questioning its ability to help me in any way as I cant currently see a difference after nearly a month.

Would it be more beneficial supplementing zinc with copper included to avoid imbalance?

If so, what ratio would likely serve best?

Do you eat lots of meat? Might be a good idea to enter what you're eating into something like Cronometer. I often wonder why so many PHers seem to supplement zinc. I would think the vast majority of us are getting plenty of it.

I think zinc and copper are antagonistic, so whatever you decide, don't take them both at the same time. Also, you may want to do a bit of an inventory to determine whether or not you are getting enough out of your diet. You might be getting enough of either one or both, and more isn't always better.

yes, supplement with copper. picolinate is always the superior zinc, use that.
