All Henry's markets to become SPROUTS?

It seems that the CEO of Sprouts, Shon Boney, finally cut a deal with Henry's. Now all Henry's locations are going to become Sprouts. I hope they still carry my favorite items that I get at each store separately. Fat Chance.

Anybody disappointed by this news, or do you see this as a good thing overall?

Seiji. Ask the butcher. When I started Paleo about a year ago I know they had no grass finished at mine in Colorado (fresh or frozen) but I'm not sure about the hormone/antibiotic stuff.

Todd - Let me know what you think about the red palm oil. It's very good for you for a host of reasons, but I can't hack the flavor yet. I will keep trying. I think it's worth it.

That was a general observation. I will agree that I rarely buy meat from either anymore. Just thought Sprouts was better. It really is great stuff. Side note: got some Red Palm Oil from TT today... should be interesting ;)

hmmm. that's interesting. i'm not impressed with the meat dept at my local Sprouts. I pretty much bypass it. But I am very interested in trying that cream and butter though. That raw cultured butter truly does look like dessert in a tub.

I find that Sprouts has a better meat department, while Henry's has more groceries. Neither one can seem to carry a decent amount of OP products. In my area, I often have to get cream at one and butter at the other.

If they merge, perhaps it would be a "best of both worlds" scenario, I just doubt it. Fingers crossed :)

I am so disappointed in the new Sprouts in my neighborhood. When it was Henry's it was my go to store and now the products are just slowly disappearing. More and more products are being replaced with Sprouts brand which are inferior, not organic and contain preservatives and other nonsense. It really sucks!

When my local store used to be Henry's, they would advertise no hormones/antibiotics on pretty much all of their meats (I usually can't afford grass-fed so that's about the best I can do), and now that it's Sprouts that labeling is gone... does anybody know if they just don't bother with the labeling anymore or if they really did stop testing for that stuff?
