No fap crew bb.com

Has anyone seen the no fap crew phenomena, where guys are restraining from wathcing porn and not masturbating. Now stay with me, this is not spam, this is related to paleo.

I hear alot from cordain and wolf about computers etc and their impact on our ability to concentrate, sleep at night etc.

A lot of guys are reporting problems with sex in real life, inability to maintain an erection. Warped senses of reality, social anxiety, lethargic behaviour, even depression from the flood of porn they are becoming addicted to and the amount of times they are impulsively masturbating.

One of the best threads was the 293 page thread on bb.com where the OP states:

"What happens when you drop a male rat into a cage with a receptive female rat? First, you see a frenzy of copulation. Then, progressively, the male tires of that particular female. Even if she wants more, he has had enough. However, replace the original female with a fresh one, and the male immediately revives and gallantly struggles to fertilize her."

"That's what is happening to you when you constantly watch porn. Every click of the mouse is another female that you mentally mated. Repeat this for 10 videos, 10 partners ... and all of a sudden you have no urge/motivation to pass on your genes via clapping real cheeks.

For all you brahs that have tried it the right way (no porn, no edging, no fapping) and STILL haven't experienced any changes in mood levels, confidence, motivation etc... this doesn't apply to you. You don't have to come in here and discredit what I say or discourage anyone from trying. Placebo or not, this stuff has worked and will continue to work for people with the will power and discipline to go on this route."

Can anyone expand on paleo as a lifestyle and how modernity has affected our health via sexual dysfunction and your opinions on this?

I notice a lot of the guys who are doing the no-fap challenge as it is called, are high fat, high protein, low-carb guys who are very close to what would be considered primal.

Yeah, that's true. But it's not normal for so many young men to have such a lack of drive. The thing that always gets me is that the testosterone ads are pandered to older guys. Growing old is an accomplishment. Older people should consider their badges earned, not their deeds lost. (Or something. That was cheesey, lol.)

I love no fap. I've experienced great changes (ie. more energy, less sleep necessary, more discipline, more positive outlook on life, more fluent language and conversation) while abstaining from orgasm and porn. Some people don't see the positive changes so as with everything here... Ymmv

I'm going to bust in here like a girl and say that this concept works for me too. TMI? Don't care. If I refrain from the hand, I have more to offer my DW and myself.

I think this is going to be highly variable. As a silver citizen, my testosterone levels are on the decline, and no amount of good nutrition or refraining from fapping is going to change that.

@GruffaloUnchained, great post man. I, like @jake 7 mentions, have also experienced noticeable positive changes, both mentally and physically. I feel more energetic, more drive to leave my apartment, more drive to speak to the people around me and connect with them, more fluency in my conversations, and acertain...gleam? It's hard to describe, but I do think it adds to my vibrancy.

One caveat: no-fap turns me into a relentless skirt-chasing monster. I have a very high sex-drive normally, so with the increase in free T3 raging through me, I will approach and flirt with any attractive girls in my vicinity with focus and tenacity regardless of the situation or consequences. Generally I'm very successful, but being 32, I am aware of the increased risk of having multiple sex partners for an extended period of time.

I maintained no-fap for about a month, and then fell off the wagon. Starting again today, I will be climbing back on.
