i hate to be a hater, and this is barely a question. now that that's out of the way...
there are way too many blogs from people that have only just started this lifestyle, i.e. less than a year, that are dispensing all sorts of advice and opinions. the first amendment is great, online journals of your personal experiences are cool, but the number of 'experts' is a little weird. people get really enthusiastic and seem to take on the pundit's mantle, and quickly.
gripe concluded, thanks for listening.

Totally agree with your last sentence there and the preachiness and zealotry can be really annoying. But it's normal for people to be really excited and enthusiastic when they've just made a big life change like starting paleo or whatever. They're probably investing quite a bit of time and effort into it at first and it's on their mind all the time. If they're seeing dramatic health/weight changes, even more so.
It's probably a good thing, since I would imagine it helps keep people on track. As time goes on it just becomes a normal part of their day to to day life instead of a novelty, so they don't feel the need to talk and think and write about it all the time (hopefully).
