coconut oil? When u are totally exahusted and it is def not due to lack of sleep

KL, I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but I can tell you are having a really hard time with your switch to Paleo doing the Whole 30 route. Would you mind giving us a run-down of your typical menu and workout routine? I'd love for this to work for you, but everyone has their own tweaks, it seems.

Short power-nap - even if I don't fall asleep 10 to 15 minutes laying down with my eyes closed (in the sun if at all possible) rejuvenates me for a few hours.

carb flu? it took my wife and I both weeks and weeks to get to where our bodies were happy low carb. I just drank more coffee for a while.

Do you workout a lot? I was feeling the same way and found out my sodium levels were really low, now I'm trying to add more salt and sweet potatoes also seem to help.

If this happens a lot to you, you probably have some kind of nutrient deficiency. I don't always get 8 hours of sleep, but I never feel exhausted, even after a long workout.

What's your diet like on an average day?

Carbs. If I got enough sleep and I was still dragging ass then I would probably be running low on carbs/glucose...

I stop what I'm doing and take a moment to breathe deeply with my eyes closed. It's rejuvenating. Or I splash water in my face.
