Do I have to eat before a bootcamp style workout, like some ppl suggest? Or is it better to workout on an empty stomache?

I have been told that I must eat something before my bootcamp. But I have also heard that exercise on an empty stomach is more beneficial for weightloss, which I am trying to achieve. If I do need to have a small snack, what should it be?

I agree with Eric - listen to your bod. I've trained fasted my entire sporto career until recently. I now snack 30 minutes the night before CF (coconut-nuts-berries-cheese-hard boiled egg, etc.) and 30 minutes before cycling down (banana-almond butter) and it's helped my performance immensely. No more flagging, strong all the way through. Note: I workout 3-4 days a week and am generally active on the off days as well.

A lot of people can successfully work out while fasting. Do whatever your body tells you. If you can do it and feel fine, and want to, go ahead. If you want to eat something, I would probably go for a bit of protein.
