What does everyone thing of gymnasticswod?

I'm a pretty lean guy, I'm active, 19 years old.

Is this site (http://gymnasticswod.com/) a good excercise regiment to follow? The strength wods can be pretty challenging, but i realize theres very little in terms of lower body.

Just wanted to start up a conversation on excercise and the place of gymnastics in a paleo lifestyle.

I've had it bookmarked for a while, but simply as something "interesting". Gymnasts do have some best physiques out there, awesome core strength (i.e. functional strength), great strength per bodyweight ratios… All things most folks would be interested in. Toss in some cardiovascular fitness and I'm not sure you could have it beat for general fitness (not that there's any one way to achieve fitness).

It depends on what you're trying to do.

I don't really think isometric holds are "paleo"( i.e.why would grok need to be able to do an iron cross) in some esoteric sense of the word but if your goals are to achieve badass positions like planche and manna then go for it.

I love gymnastics but that website doesn't really work for me. Personally I'm following "Overcoming Gravity" since it makes it easier to build a workout that prioritizes certain goals.
