I thought I had read somewhere that there is a theory that by switching to a grain based diet that the jaws and nasal passageways have moved or become smaller, making it harder to breathe. I was wondering if anyone else had any information on this. Thank you for your help.

incidentally, might this be why some cultures are known for bigger noses? Perhaps it is more than genetics?

Have you read Weston A Price's book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration"? Price goes into facial structure a lot. He talks about generational differences and deformities as related to modern (read: SAD) diets versus ancestral type diets. I'm not sure about resources for longer term biological changes.
