When i have a soccer game coming up, what foods and how much should i eat to make sure i have enough energy for the game. (i feel like vegetables wouldn't provide enough energy and a lot of meat makes me feel slow, but im no expert)

Personally, I'd eat a fair amount of rice and fruit the day of to top off glycogen stores.

Sweet potato, banana, dates, raisins. All good source of carbs/energy. Sweet potato should be eaten at least an hour before, others can be more of a "quick snack right before" thing (depending on your timing)

If you are fit and do a fair amount of running (likely if you play soccer) then I would not be afraid of the carbs. Don't overeat but eat good carbs like sweet potatoes, etc. along with your other foods, the carbs will top off your stores to give you energy throughout the game.
