Hey guys, I'm a 20 yr old female that recently started eating paleo (again). Right now I'm consuming approx. 1,200 calories per day; although, I'll admit, sometimes I consume closer to 1,000. I realize this is probably too little, but I'm... (more)

Hey this might seem like old news to many but I just learned a few days ago about the fact that ruminants like deer or cows are able to digest plant matter because they ferment it in their stomach. I had an "aha!" moment and thought well... (more)
What's everyone elses experience with removing wheat/gluten from their diet? The big trend that I hear a lot of right now is gluten. Yes, gluten can be *extremely* bad for you physically and mentally and that's fairly easily quantified.... (more)
There's a Gluten Summit going on this week for anyone that's interested in more on this topic. Have no affiliation with them but find it fascinating and free.
Sorry for the long title, but to put a connection out there I am wondering if at the end of explaining my situation there will be a chance that perhaps dieting properly will in time help me improve my chances of getting over my issues in my... (more)
If I may summarize the Paleo recommendation, we are to minimize direct sugar, including eating sweet fruits sparingly, eliminate things that directly convert to sugar (white flour, its concoctions, etc.), and eliminate polysaccharides that... (more)
The sugar crash happens when your blood sugar gets high, and your body pumps out too much insulin, thus clearing out the glucose (remember glucose above a certain level in the blood is toxic). With a paleo diet, you have a steady level of glucose... (more)
Has anybody experience a dramatic increase in energy after starting probiotics? I finished a bottle of enymedica Pro-bio about 5 days ago. About noon on the day I first started this product I noticed I had a lot of energy- energy like I haven't... (more)

I think you're doing a good job dude. The only advice I'd give you is to increase the intensity and decrease the duration of your elliptical HIIT sessions to help you finish cutting.

I think I have some grasp on what foods are Paleo, but I don't have as clear a picture about what the proportions are. I get the impression that it may be best to change what you "find" from day to day, but if you were making a percentage... (more)
When i have a soccer game coming up, what foods and how much should i eat to make sure i have enough energy for the game. (i feel like vegetables wouldn't provide enough energy and a lot of meat makes me feel slow, but im no expert)
Sweet potato, banana, dates, raisins. All good source of carbs/energy. Sweet potato should be eaten at least an hour before, others can be more of a "quick snack right before" thing (depending on your timing)
Hi! Wondering if anyone has heard of it? Says it is Paleo, I understand most people are against supplements/energy drinks but sometimes I like a pick me up so was wondering if anyone has any reviews on it? Thank you!

I just made some ginger tea with hot water, lemon juice and fresh ginger, after which I felt a kind of energy shot Is there any reason for this? Does anyone use ginger instead of caffeine for energy?
