Has anybody heard anything either way on COPD and paleo? Trying to convert my father-in-law.

No, but weird that you mention COPD as I was just reading this article: http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2011-05/ats-vdi051111.php So maybe a vitamin D sup?

I haven't heard of anyone talking about their COPD and Paleo, however, there was a study that showed that "more fruits and vegetables" was beneficial compared to the control group over a 3 year period (the control group got steadily worse overtime, while the more-veggies group stayed stable). Based on this information, I'd say that diet can probably help with COPD, although I'd probably do a more wild seafood-oriented Paleo, rather than a meat-oriented one, with lots of veggies and fruits. The reason for this is because another study showed that too much meat, particularly cured meat, was flaring up the condition. Also, vitamin D (and possibly Magnesium and CoQ10 Ubiquinol) could help.
