I wanted to get "your" opinion on these http://eggcrystals.com/. Seems to be a better alternative to powdered eggs and fairly convenient for camping, food storage, or emergency situations.

I just bought these: http://store.eggcrystals.com/product_p/ov112.htm for a 2-week kayak trip starting later this month; I'll let you know how it goes/how they taste.

I'd be concerned about oxidized cholesterol in the product, just like in powdered eggs. If the vendor's tested for this, let us know.

Unless you absolutely need them, I would just avoid it. There seems to be better alternatives for real foods for camping, food storage, etc.
