I think a petition to Ben & Jerry's to make this a reality is in order. Whos with me?

Simibee, that seems like it might be worth the trip.

I practice a version of Paleo, called "Paleo H-D".I eat sugar every day in the form of ice-cream and juices. I think it's been maligned. I have all my teeth. If you don't brush yours, they will fall out even though you are a Paleo hero.

Sugar is great if you want on your grave stone "ALL MY TEETH FELL OUT" unless you eat it like once a week or less, even at that amount most people will still probably get cavities if their teeth are already compromised Once a year would be fine

Thomas if you are such a fan of sugar why are you hanging out on a Paleo site? Regardless if you reread my comment I said nothing about the health aspects, I said I didn't like the taste.

I've just checked some of my favourites, but no joy, as they are just small, local companies. Although not authentic Cornish, Mackies of Scotland make a delicious traditional clotted cream ice cream, and according to their website have started branching out into international sales. If it were something like beef jerky I'd offer to send some care packages, but until my local Post Office starts offering trans-Atlantic cold shipping, I guess you'll just have to come and visit. :)

Ha - me 3! Only the waiting list for a table is about as long as for those really exclusive private prep schools that you have to apply for before you've even conceived (and is just as pricey).

Henny, I don't mean this to jinx you, but when (and if) you die, I hope written on your tombstone will be: Henny Didn't Eat Sugar.

Haagen-Dazs is for wusses who can't handle the butterfat content of traditional West Country ice cream made from real Cornish clotted cream. ;)

Except for all the sugar. Tried some recently and it's sickeningly sweet for someone who no longer eats sugar.

I just get coconut milk ice cream for the occasional calorie load days. Mix some almond flour with an egg, and add cinnamon, coconut shreds, blueberries, cacao powder. Throw it in the pan along with a banana. Take out and add the ice cream on top, and BAM!!! Paleo ice cream sammich.

Nothing more Paleo than a plateful of bacon and egg ice cream eaten at a restaurant called "The Fat Duck".

I'm just going to jump out there and say that this looks disgusting. But I wonder what Ron Swanson would think... I don't know if ice cream is up there on the Pyramid of Greatness.
