HELP!!!!!! How to bake Paleo when you are allergic to eggs?

Hi All, I'm new here, but I've been told that if anyone can help, they will be on here most likely.

So here is my problem......We have been Paleo for two years and love our new way of eating. It has improved our health greatly. I have just been told that my skin issues that have failed to improve are being caused by an egg allergy.

Does this mean that Paleo baking is now off limits? Has anyone out there figured out how to bake paleo without needing a dozen eggs per recipe? Replacing one or two eggs with flax or applesauce is not a problem, but in Paleo baking ,eggs are used in such high amounts that it changes the recipe too much to replace the eggs. Any recipes for baked goods {minus eggs} or links to blogs that are egg free are appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!!!

When I used to bake 'vegan' products, I made an egg replacer from simmering ground flax meal and sometimes straining the gel through a sieve to remove hulls, sometimes not. It does work as a good binder. It depends what is being 'binded'. I made some muffins recently with pureed avocado, banana, coconut oil, cocoa powder and coconut flour, honey, and a couple of eggs, but it didn't need the eggs really.

Baking with mashed up and grated fruits and veggies bound with a little coconut and/or rice flour, doesn't need eggs. Boxed 'vegan' egg replacer with leaveners and potato and tapioca starch and baking powder might work for you. At this point your baked goods are probably quite different from the wheat and egg based originals... but hopefully tasty!

Maybe you are allergic to just chicken eggs? Try duck eggs?

I believe Flaxseed Meal works well as an egg alternative. Good luck!
