What is the common link between eczema triggers?

Gluten, dairy, chocolate, eggs, citrus, and tomatoes all cause an eczema flare up for me, and I have noticed that this seems to be what other people say causes problems for them as well. It seems to be the sort of "official" list of eczema triggers. Is there something that all of these foods have in common? Why do these particular foods cause eczema? In addition to eczema, these foods seem to give me anxiety after I eat them. Why?

There may be a link with gut health and immune system response. Some postulate that dairy can cause a response similar to celiac disease too. Worth having a look at Chris Kresser's site and his article on healing a leaky gut:
