Sulphites? They're used in some dried apricots.
But any high availability carb including dried fruit will increase bp.

I don't know about hypertension, but dried fruits made my cholesterol go up. I'm sure they are OK in moderation but they are one of those deals that is hard to moderate. Sugar is addictive. I'd stay away they messed up my health!
