Dried peaches and poo

I needed something after dinner last night so had 5 dried peaches. This morning I dont feel so good and am constipated. Is this a common side effect of dried fruit?

Yep. A lot of people eat prunes or raisins particularly if they feel stopped up and aren't into taking laxatives. Becoming constipated from dried fruits would certainly be odd.

See the toolbar next to the paleohacks logo that goes questions, tags, users, badges, unanswered? Click on badges and look through 'em. I just joined this site yesterday, you figure out how to navigate it pretty quickly :-)

Btw, if one more person downvotes your question, and after that you delete it, you get the badge 'peer-pressure'. Just so you know.

Well it kind of is a weird question, but I wouldn't necessarily downvote it, though I'm a nice person so maybe that's just me. If I found a bad question, I'd leave a comment informing the person why I didn't like their question. Maybe try asking something that you couldn't just google the answer to. Something more intelligent I guess, I'm not sure what the right word is. Btw good grammar is a help, not to be a grammar nazi :)

thanks. I realised I have minus two votes and being new to all this I dont understand this minus voting thingy. Do you have any idea why someone would do this? I understand it is a personal thing I would just like to know why because I will know next time I ask a question. So no more dried peaches for me then...

Ouch, minus two votes. It's probably the fiber in the peaches or something. Btw dried fruits tend to be sugar bombs, I wouldn't eat five at once personally.

For more relevant answers and even a possibility of a real response give your diet prior to dried peaches and any other relevant history. Have you ever had dried fruit before? What has been your day to day BM's. Are you normally a morning goer every morning? I wouldn't call it constipation to miss ONE morning poo....

I would say the normal result of dried fruit would be the opposite of constipation.
