I've had my 50lb hound on raw chicken (legs, thighs, backs) for nearly two years, which I'll supplement with whatever's leftover: broccoli stems, salmon skins, bone-broth bones, organ meats and the bowl of anything I've just eaten to clean (sans onions and garlic), with the occasional rice and eggs as a meal for him. Vet said he looks as good for his age (at least 10) of any dog he's ever seen. A couple of weeks ago, he started having diarrhea so bad he's gone a couple times in the house when I've been at work. When I give him rice and eggs exclusively for a day the diarrhea clears up. When I return to the chicken, the diarrhea's back in a day. Been through a few cycles of this as an experiment, and it definitely appears to be the chicken, which I've gotten from different sources just to make sure it isn't a single source issue.
