i am a 3rd year student of nutrition. i struggled for years with digestive issues going around and around in circles without effecting any real changes and improvements. and then one day i just started eating nuffin but white meats and a few vegetables and drinking water. might seem boring, it really isn't!
best thing is i don't have to worry about my health so much now. it's not the constant money-draining, supplement-fueled anxious nightmare it was. my energy levels don't shoot up and down. no more fogginess.
to anybody struggling with this stuff, i'd recommend doing less, not more.
simple things like eating smaller portions, increasing animal protein, consuming lightly cooked foods, avoid common allergens (wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, nuts) go a long way. it may seem too limited. it does, however, rule out virtually anything that will cause any trouble, letting you get back on your feet at least, and such a diet will not precipitate nutritional deficiency.
just thought i'd share that with you all. thankyou!
